The Results! The ‘Top 10’ of our recycling competition…


The results are in…

Our January and February recycling competition has drawn to a close and what a fantastic response we have had!

We had 98 Empties Please recyclers return full bins to us and you have raised a massive total of…

£5,660.50!

Our ‘Top 10’ and cream of the crop get to choose either a laminator of shredder for their school or office!

The ‘Top 10’ are as follows…

  • St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School – £155.50
  • St Lukes C of E Primary Endon and PSA – £150.50

We would just like to say a huge well done to our fab ‘Top 10’ all with recycle bins over £100, £200 and £300! And also to everyone else that returned a recycle bin to us, it’s been great fun to follow the ever changing ‘Top 10’

Your prizes will be on the way very soon.

Changes to our recycling scheme from Monday 2nd March 2015…

To coincide with the end of our competition we would like to inform you of some changes to our payment list.

We pay £1 for an ‘Original Branded’ INK cartridge and 50p for a ‘Remanufactured / Compatible’ INK cartridge…
  • HP (any not listed below)
  • Lexmark
  • Dell
  • Samsung
  • Canon that are labelled – PG37, PG40, PG50, PG510, PG512, PG540, PG545, CL37, CL38, CL41, CL51, CL52, CL511, CL51, CL541 and CL546

Unfortunately we are UNABLE to ‘recycle and pay’ for the following INK cartridges…

  • Epson
  • Brother
  • Kodak
  • Canon ‘individual colour’ ink tanks (CLI and PGI codes)
  • HP that are labelled – 363, 364, 88, 920, 940, 10, 11, 13 and 14 (Unrecyclable from Monday 2nd March 2015. We have been unable to pay for HP 364 since 2014)

If you have any ‘Original Branded’ TONERS to recycle please contact us with brand name and code of the toner and we will see if we can help you.
