We have some news…
From time to time, due to changes in the recycling industry, we have to make changes to the way we run our scheme.
Due to recent changes in the empties market, it is with regret that we are unable to continue with our current prices going forward.
The new prices for the empty cartridges we are able to recycle (please check the homepage for the exclusion list) are effective from 1st August 2015.
We will be paying 75p for an original branded printer ink cartridge and 25p for a remanufactured printer ink cartridge.
Cartridges we CAN recycle and pay for at Empties Please…
- HP (EXCEPT 363, 364, 88, 920, 940, 10, 11, 13 and 14. Unrecyclable from 2nd March 2015, we have not been able to pay for HP 364 since 2014)
- Lexmark
- Dell
- Samsung

Unfortunately we are UNABLE to ‘recycle and pay’ for the following INK cartridges…

- Canon ‘individual colour’ ink tanks (CLI and PGI codes)
- HP that are labelled – 363, 364, 88, 920, 940, 10, 11, 13 and 14 (Unrecyclable from 2nd March 2015. We have been unable to pay for HP 364 since 2014)
- Franker cartridges
For those of you on our trial toner collection scheme we will now be offering 50p for selected branded toner cartridges*.
(* Please note, we can only pay you for branded original toners (if the manufacturers logo isn’t on it, we can’t take it). If it is branded, please contact us to see if we are able to recycle them for you)
POLITE REQUEST – Please DO NOT return ANY ‘Compatible / Remanfactured’ TONER cartridges, they are unrecyclable at Empties Please and very costly to dispose of.
If you have a brown box of printer cartridges ready to send back to us via Collect+, please take it down to your nearest depot (which can be found at https://www.collectplus.co.uk/returns/new/emptiesplease) or, alternatively, if you have a white box, please contact us and we will arrange a collection.
We will honour our current prices for any recycle bins received on or before 31st July 2015.
Thankyou
Empties Please.
