Mayfield Primary raise £961 and adopt a Snow Leopard!

Mayfield Primary School raise £961 since 2013 and adopt a Snow Leopard with their ‘Green Reward Points’!

Since joining Empties Please back in 2013 Mayfield Primary School have received top marks for recycling cartridges!

The scheme is ran by a very proactive PTFA and by getting the children involved, both have taken the scheme on board and ran with it, making it a great success. The school often has bin amounts of well over £200, which is a great achievement.

By using the school newsletter, website, posters and word of mouth the PTFA let as many parents, children and carers as possible aware of the scheme, keeping it in the forefront of their fundraising activities.

The great thing about the Empties Please scheme is for every £1 raised we give ‘1 Green Point’, these points can be saved and them redeemed for ‘Eco Friendly’ gifts for your school. Mayfield Primary chose to adopt a Snow Leopard with their ‘Green Rewards’  as well as a gardening set with the remaining points.

Due to their recycling success Mayfield Primary school have also featured in our PTA+ article in the Autumn issue of 2015 and due to feature in our PTA+ advert in Autumn 2016, with an update on their recycling success!
