A recycling update from Empties Please – How Coronavirus is effecting our business
We hope you are all staying well and safe during the Coronavirus outbreak.
We continue to run our recycling services at Empties Please although a little differently than we are used to and navigating our way through a day at a time!
We are very much open and adapting to new working conditions which may see some of our services experience delays, but we are doing our very best to keep you updated on where we are up to!
Our admin office staff are now working from home and available Monday to Thursday 9.15-2.45pm. Please email your queries to us as we are unable to take phone calls and reply to answerphone messages at present – firstname.lastname@example.org

We usually despatch any replacement or new recycle bin orders and freepost recycle bags on a weekly basis, we are experiencing some delays in getting these out weekly and they are more likely to be despatched bi weekly at present.
We share our processing facility with another company and due to a peak in demand, with so many people working from home, all staff have been deployed to help despatch orders as priority. Once demand for online orders drops there will be more focus on recycle bin processing.
All our recyclers that have returned recycle bins to us recently and are still waiting for them to be processed have been emailed to keep them updated on the progress. We are also advising that all payments we make to our recyclers for recycle bins that have been processed be made by BACS. This will save our recyclers unnecessary trips to the bank to pay in cheques. Recyclers will be asked for BACS details once we receive your returned recycle bin at our warehouse.
Keeping our recyclers updated
We will endevour to keep our recyclers updated as often as required. We will do this via Facebook, Twitter, on our blog and also the home page of our website. We’ll email individual recyclers when necessary too.
We hope you all stay safe and well.
Take care and please do carry on recycling!
