Empties Please can now be ran as your ‘Waste’ topic with Eco-schools!

Sign up to Eco-schools and use your Empties Please recycling scheme as one of your topics! We are very excited to announce we are now in partnership with Eco-Schools part of Keep Britain Tidy.

Eco-schools is a recognised, international award programme that guides schools on their sustainable journey, embedding eco led principles into everyday school life.

To become an Eco-School there are 3 awards you can work towards, Bronze, Silver and the coveted Green flag award!

There are 9 topics you can choose from which are designed to cover all aspects of becoming eco aware in the 21^st century. The great news is you can now run your Empties Please recycling scheme as part of your ‘Waste’ topic. The ‘Waste’ topic is all about Reduce, Reuse, Recycle so fits in perfectly with our printer cartridge recycling scheme.

To work on an Eco-schools award you need to set up and Eco-Committee in your school. This is the perfect way to run your Empties Please recycling scheme. Getting your pupils involved at this level really does help them to learn about reducing waste, recycling, raising money and helping the local environment! Use your designated Eco-schools notice board to promote your scheme and keep your teachers, pupils and parents up to date with your progress!
