Beaudesert Lower School raise £242.35!

Beaudesert Lower School top the charts in October 2016!

Beaudesert lower school have been recycling with Empties Please since 2012 and raised £600 to date!

Their recent recycle bin returned in October was worth a staggering £242.35!

Back in 2014 they redeemed their ‘Green Reward Points’ for a lovely butterfly tower for their school.

We had a chat with their PTA to see how they make their recycling scheme a great success …

“The whole recycling process is very easy to use, from registration through to returning the boxes of cartridges and then getting payment. We have placed our collection box in the school foyer and have some posters on the wall telling parents which cartridges can be recycled. We also send out flyers bi-annually in all the children’s bags to remind the parents that we are collecting and that anything donated can really help the school finances.

To date we have raised just short of £600 and our latest collection we raised £242! In 2014 we redeemed our green points and ordered a giant butterfly tower for the school and we are using our last cheque to help fund a Xmas Panto trip for the whole school this December.”

If you have a success story and would like to feature on our website, social pages and any marketing we might do please email us a testimonial and photograph and we’ll gladly do so. Beaudesert Lower School are due to feature in the PTA+ magazine spring edition’s fundraising feature!
